Mission Statement

Our goals from day one have never wavered, that is to have top quality Jennet’s with special emphasis on our Jack selection.  We have accomplished this by purchasing experienced Brood Jennet’s and yearlings that can grow up into future brood Jennet’s.

We purchased our sorrel Jack from the famous “My World” lineage not only for his outstanding conformation, color and his small size of 31 inches, but also his wonderful endearing disposition.  He’s an easy going pasture breeding jack, loves children and is easily managed.  All his fabulous attributes are easily seen in his babies.

Our Jennet herd consists of sorrel, dun grays, dark browns and spotted.  These jennets range in size from 30 inches (still growing) to 35 ¼ inches.  All of these jennets have nice conformation, and friendly pleasing personalities. We also have three geldings as pets/companions to both the herd and ourselves.  Geldings make great pets and wonderful babysitters at weaning time.

Our philosophy is to only breed animals that will contribute further to the well being of Miniature Mediterranean Donkey’s.   Any jack foal born not meeting these strict criteria is gelded at around 8 months of age or offered with a gelding incentive.  Any jennet foal not meeting these strict criteria will be sold as “pet quality only”.

We will never have too many as to not allow time each day to spend with our herd.  We believe in quality grass hay, grain as appropriate, exceptional health care with protocols for vaccinations/worming and having a reputable farrier to assure our donkeys feet are trimmed as needed.  Add to that loads of love as being the recipe for a happy healthy herd.

We will offer guidance, encourage newcomers, offer farm visits, promote the well being of donkeys,  continue to stay in contact with our purchasers long after the final sale.  We will always have the best interest of these loving endearing creatures as our number one priority.

We will also never forget the people that encouraged us in our endeavor to become breeders.  They will forever be part of us and we will strive to become just that to anyone seeking our guidance.
